Malaysian airliner feared lost..

    So, knowing the approximate speed of the gyre rotation of that ocean should give them a better idea of where the crash occurred, yes?

    Maybe they need to start counting 777's ?

    Clearly this part was tossed into the ocean by whoever took the plane in the first place.

    What amazes me is that we can locate a slain lion in the middle of the African desert because the lion was geotagged.

    To which I ask, why isn't every major component of a passenger jet airliner made to include these kinds of geotags?

    They have to be sure the flap is from a 777. Then it'll be obvious.

    They are certain it came from a 777, but they "can't be 100% sure it came from that 777".

    It had to come from MH370, or it was placed there.

    Since this was a French island that obviously narrows down the list of suspects. :)
