I love those two episodes. I just wish the torture would have had more lasting consequences on Picard's psyche, but still...the psychology of torture was nicely covered, and it was pretty hardcore for a TNG episode.

TNG, "Second Chances". Just last night on Netflix, after a discussion with my wife about the movie "Parent Trap" and related dual-role split-screen effects.

I just finished season 2 of Enterprise, watched on Netflix.

I gave up on Enterprise during the first season when it was first airing on TV, because it had bland storylines and I didn't like how they portrayed Vulcans. But recently I've decided to give it another shot and its not too bad. I wish I had stuck with it the first time around.

Watching Enterprise the first time through on Netflix - last episode watched was from Season 2, "The Crossing", where subspace creatures start possessing the crew. I'm enjoying Enterprise as a whole, and I find it better than a lot of people give it credit for, but based on this last episode (which I found to be pretty bad), I see why people complain. I've heard Seasons 3 and 4 are pretty good, so I'm looking forward to watching 'em.

Some VHS releases of TNG, where the 2-parters have been edited together as TV Movies.

Sad really, as I'm sure I have them individually on DVD someplace.

I'm still getting used to a flat panel television. Adjusting the settings and connections.

Seeing just how bad, bad can get I suppose! 576i quality. However did we manage?
