    The Amergris Element.

Kirk and Spock become fish? Blech. Conflict with the underwater society was good, though.

I loved pointing out to my mother that Kirk and Spock were in Mayberry. :P

Shaky plot but some inventive camera work make it worthwhile.

Minimalistic sets, stylish direction and the question of what makes a civilization worthy to survive make this one a winner.

Fun to watch. But one thing I've learned over seventy-nine episodes: the Enterprise has some shitty security.

Interesting direction is an overlooked positive of the TOS S3. The show really feels like proto-'70s sci-fi for much of the season, after spending two years being shot more or less like a western.

Another old favorite that never disappoints.
