    Great in concept.

Executed in about the dullest way imaginable, with Riker acting like a dufus as the cherry on top.

Plus, this is another planet of all white people. I saw on dark skinned woman in the background, but all of Kaman's friends and associates were white. Then you have the fact that Picard was mind-raped and no one even mentioned it.

    Another groundbreaking TNG outing.

Some call this episode boring. While it has a slow pace, I like it because the idea of space itself seems vast, and unconquerable, and this episode made me think, like when I watch 2001 a space odyssey

I love this episode. It really gives a new perspective to the Klingon people and their justice system. It is a nod to how the court is run during Kirk and McCoy's trial in ST VI. I like the friendship that is formed between Archer and Kolos; how Archer's "humanity" gives Kolos a chance to change his own life and the status-quo of the Klingon judicial system... It's no wonder that it was picked for the "Captain's Log" collective... Powerful episode...

I just watched it, and I agree; it's a delightfully silly farce. It was one of the first Trek episodes I owned on home video, and I still have my laser disc (with "Metamorphosis" on the other side).
