Apparently Albert Finney is going to be in it?
Hmm, I've always liked his work, so that's cool.
A link to the story
Finney will play a foreign office mandarin
Finney's a legend; his inclusion in any movie can only be a good thing. Though this might lead to even more Bourne comparisons, him having been in that trilogy.
And returning in its sequel. Either way, fantastic news that he's going to be in the film, too.
Tuesday's press conference should be interesting.
You mean Thursday right? That's November 3rd
That's what I meant.
Both 'T' words. You're forgiven
Thanks. Don't know why I thought it was Tues.
I can't wait for the press conference, either. I'm just excited that they're making another James Bond film.
Bardem, Fiennes, Finney. Even if we didn't already have Craig and Dench, this would probably be a contender for strongest Bond cast ever. Not to mention Mendes behind the camera.
This has to be the most prestigious line-up for a James Bond film in a long time.
No kidding. I don't know any plot details and I'm already excited about the movie just based on the cast and director.
Here's hoping they add a high-class actress as one of the Bond girls. Dare I hope for Rachel Weisz? Or is she no longer considered "hot enough" anymore?
Not really my type, but definitely hot!
As long as they don't trot Angelina Jolie out I'll be ok...
On the whole the better Bond girls have always been the least known ones. Of course having said that Diana Rigg is my all time favourite Bond girl and she was hardly unkown.
On the whole though I'd rather a Maryam D'abo, Famke Janssen or an Izabella Scorupco, than a Teri Hatcher, Halle Berry or a Denise Richards...
Rachel Weisz would be an ironic choice for a Bond girl since she and Daniel Craig are now married and of course have already worked together in this year's horror flick "Dream House" (the movie where they met and fell in love during production). I don't see that happening, although that would be pretty awesome.
She's also very good friends with Mendes, and apparently she'd jump at the chance.
Heaven forbid 007 should ever have a relationship with someone his own age though...
I completely agree, but I still hope for someone like Rachel Weisz.
