i think the uniform might be what some are thinking should be Riker's (i.e. the Captain)...or maybe give Riker somethng similar, but with a cape? OK...kinda going off the deep end, but love the concepts!
I'd agree with this. The design that I'm working on for Captain Lex is wrap, while the uniform for the rest of the male crew members will be more similar to their primary universe counterparts.
Just thought I would mention that my starship designs have just been added to the database over at www.shipschematics.net Feel free to pop over there to view all of the designs.
Some one on another forum mention that with the I.S.S. Titan being able to saucer sep, should have an impulse deck on the stardrive. I totally forgot about that. So here is the I.S.S. Titan revised with a smaller impulse deck on the the stardrive.
Sean, Glad to see that at least the ISS Titan is getting that third impulse engine... though I still think it'd work better down just under the hangar deck "strip" in the fantail area... Oh, and I just have to say it once again.. I REALLY like these engines, more so than the same-factory-as-Akira ones (though I know that it makes sense to have done so). I'm curious, personally, what a non-ISS-paintjob would look like with these engines One other question... it LOOKS like you underside-mounted thrust vents on the primary hull impulse housings. Is that what I'm seeing there? If so... is that something new, and if so... what's behind those?
Thanks, it was a valid point for me to add that impulse deck. I totally forgot to think about it when I refit the U.S.S. Titan in to the I.S.S. As for putting the impulse engine under the fantail, I tried that and I did not like the look of it there, plus if messed with my aft torpedo launcher. I may make another ship similar to the U.S.S. Titan in the future that has the I.S.S. Nacelles. It will be a while though. Nope they are on the U.S.S. Titan as well just a neutral color. On the 3D Mesh I think we have them blue. With the I.S.S. ships I tried to turn everything that lit blue was lit Red to make them have a menacing feel to them.
Thats one tough, Bad ass lookin Cheif Engineer. Lovin the ??Completed?? ISS Titan. Especialy lovin the seperation line for the saucer section. Thats got be right along the same line as the Sovergin was ment to. Id just love to see these ships in a CG battle. Id really love to see the USS Titan Vs ISS Titan. An the Enterprise E Vs the ISS Ares. Id be routin for the Big E there though.
Question... I THOUGHT that the USS Titan was also separable. But some of the quotes you've made here imply that this is not the case. Can we get a clarification, please?
I designed the U.S.S. Titan sorta like Voyager, one complete ship. Pocket did not mention if she could seperate or not. When I started to redesign her into the I.S.S. Titan, I decided to try the saucer sep look and liked it. I also came across a sketch of what the Ent-E was supposed to look like saucer-seped and used it as a basis for the I.S.S. Titan's seperation
Here is a couple o pages from my sketchbook. One has to do with the Titan, the other is a page of concept designs the I created for Ellory Connell the artist who has been working on the 3D U.S.S. Titan Cover.
Hi! Just saw your ISS Icarus work at the deviantart site: http://www.deviantart.com/view/31712919/ Not bad! Gary
Thanks, she is on the back burner right now, since I am working on the Titan Crew members as well as some freelance work. But don't worry the Icarus will get finished.
I figured with all the updates between the I.S.S. Titan and the U.S.S. Titan that it was time for a new Desktop wallpaper comparing the two sister ships so here she is enjoy.
Sean, Who is the first officer then? I thought you were making Geordi that position or did you decide on someone else? Keep up the good work. I like the concepts and even the work on Evil Geordi.
No, he is still my I.S.S. Titan First Officer. He just uses his implants to better connect to ships systems.
Here is a quick update on my Geordi WIP. I hape to have him done in a couple of days if there is enough time between work, freelance and freetime.
