Didn't The Office have the same debate about Hilary Swank? "She is attractive...but she is not hot."

I would fall on the "Attractive, not hot" side for Mulgrew as well. But that's not a bad thing. It means she doesn't go out of her way to exhibit her attractiveness.

We all have different opinions on what is considered hot, sexy, and attractive. For example, I know that Seven Of Nine is considered to be the hottest woman on Voyager but I think she is too stereotypical in looks: blonde hair, curvy yet slim figure. The "ideal" woman as society tells us. With Janeway it's not just about her looks, her personality is sexy. The way she carries herself and the confidence she projects.

I found the way Janeway (And Red) carries herself is more motherly than sexy. JMO.

There's no denying Janeway is motherly towards a lot of the crew but I have to agree with teacake.

    Silly spies.

The darn thing is only 50 pages long.

Either Dr. J didn't have many personal reflections or the font used in the book is VERY small. ;)

Okay, I searched several sales at Amazon and finally found one that mentioned what the book was about.

I have to admit, it sounds interesting. :vulcan:

    Yep.

    I just bought the $ 8.99 version.

Gee, thanks Teacake. Making me spend money when I least expect it. :p

Do you have a book about the lesions? Do you have the immunobiology book? Do you have that aircraft guide?

One of my fav series of lectures from the Teaching Company is the history of medicine through biography over the last 2500 years. :bolian:

As for a book on "Janeway lesions" ... (Sounds like a STD primer from the EMH) not specifically, but they are in some of my books. ;)

But your complaint about the ebay spies is mine too. Just because I buy a set of luggage, doesn't mean I want to know about every OTHER set of luggage on sale.

Just because I search Captain Kathryn Janeway, doesn't mean I need to know about the lesions.

I love that clip! So funny! Kate is the only person who fully stays in character the entire time. If it were me, I'd be trying not to laugh, and failing.

I think I have that entire presentation I taped on VHS somewhere...along with many episodes of Voyager, and the preview show for Voyager hosted by Robert Picardo (which got me really excited). I think I've seen that preview more than I've seen any one episode of Voyager! :rommie: Oh, and remember that awful UPN network ID animation. Ugh.
