Aw! How sweet.
Gimli taking it easy yesterday.
How adorable .
Awww ... very cute! TheSeeker, Gimli looks absolutely content!
Here are a couple photos of our kitten, Indigo, courtesy of my daughter, who got a Canon Powershot for her 7th birthday in December (she loves taking cat pictures):
That is one cute kitty!
I love that first picture. What a great shot!
Great kitty pics!
Aww. What's his/her name? I have a girl cat named Zelda who kind of looks like your cat .
Who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTER KITTIES!!!
That's Junior, a very large and fluffy Maine Coon.
Gimli looks a lot like my cat Sammie.Sammie passed away 4 weeks ago today.Seeing those pics made me happy.
Cool. He's a nice cat. How old is he?
He just turned two in December.
The two of them in a rare moment of civility:
Aww. So he's still got a long life ahead of him .
Aww. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad we could put a smile on your face!
That is really crisp. Did you apply any extra sharpening or is your lens just that good?
Thanks. The lens is the Canon 18-135 STM kit lens that comes with the 70D. But while it is the entry-level lens, I've been very impressed with it so far. I also process all of my images in Lightoom 3 (I shoot in RAW), so I did apply some sharpening in post. Also, shrinking the image from its original 5400 x 3600 size to the 1620 x 1080 size I use to upload at flickr adds a bit of sharpening to the image. And I imagine there's even more sharpening when flickr further reduces the size to the 800 x 534 I posted here.
So yeah, really good lens, and several processes that increased the sharpening.
The ISO for that shot is 6400, which just goes to show that my camera also helps maintain the quality of the image.
^Those are really great shots, Ancient Mariner! Not just the image quality, but also the moments you capture. Very nice!
I dug up a few older photos of my cat Anda and did some minor editing:
Is your cat a vampire?
Separate names with a comma.
