I figure many of us are cat lovers, so I thought I'd create a thread where we can all congregate, post pictures of our adorable cats and express our love for them.

I'll start with my two feline friends. They're mother and daughter, by the way. The Birman is the mom.

The Birman is a breed of cats (wikipedia article). Mine is a Birman/European mix, I think, but she does have most of the Birmans' characteristics: blue eyes, the bi-color coat and the affectionate disposition.

Here is a close-up where you can see better what she looks like:

Okay, I'm sorry, but both of these photos have way exceeded the "Aww..." factor for today.

Your cats are magnificent, Alienesse. :)

I live together with two cats. When this picture was taken, they were still living with their brothers and sister:

When she's staying over, it's still a favourite spot of hers:

I don't know why 1-800-petmeds keeps including a milk-bone with my orders, but the cats were curious at least.

Aww... this is too cute for words! I love Birmans.

Don't have any cats of my own but we feed about 10 strays/ferals. Sigh.

From back to front - Georgy, Spider and Miss Chicken.

It is rare to get a photo of all three together because Miss Chicken and Georgy hate each other.

You have a Russian Blue? I love Russian Blues! :adore: Well, I love all cats, but this is one of my favorite breeds, along with the Abyssinian, Maine Coon and Egyptian Mau.

:adore: Beautiful! I'll post some kitten pics myself later.

All of your cats are beautiful, guys! I'm so glad I started this thread.:techman:

Yes, they are. I've had her for a few years, but I can never get used to those stunning blue eyes. Can you believe she's actually a found cat? She showed up one day in my back yard, emaciated and scared. She also looked like she had recently had kittens. Obviously someone had abandoned her. I tempted her with a little food and she's been with me ever since.

Aww... :). Especially the second picture.

I have two cats at home myself, ones a tiger, whose named Jupi and the others a long haired mix named Zelda.

They're pretty well behaved around one another for the most part, but they do play fight every so often. Jupi is for the most part, Zelda's step mom, since her real mom and grandma rejected her :(.

That said, I truly appreciate the both of them in my life. They're two of the nicest and sweetest kitties that you could ever meet.

Our cats came in a package deal with my wife (I want a dog, but our apartment complex has a two-animal maximum), but every now and again, Spike comes up with some decent photo ops:
