TNG, DS9, and Voyager are my favorites. TNG ranked first, than DS9, and then Voyager. I've always gone back and forth in terms of ranking Voyager or Star Trek third, but I think I go back to watch Voyager more than I go back to watch Star Trek. I did actually watch a Star Trek episode last night though.

Deep Space Nine, though TOS is right there with it.
In terms of films, the Abrams films are my favorites.

Thanks for voting and weighing in, everyone!

Interesting results so far. TOS took the early lead but the Niners have come out of the woodwork to push it as the clear favourite. And while the TNG movies and TAS have their supporters, it seems no voters thus far consider either to be their favourite. I also figured there would be more J.J. Abrams fans as I had the impression that a bunch of folks joined this site when Star Trek 2009 came out.

I contemplated a category for unofficial fan-type videos (New Voyages, Of Gods and Men, Renegades, etc.) but ultimately decided not to include this in the poll.

80+ voters is a pretty good sample size, though nowhere near the amount of people that would vote on a StarTrek.com poll (though I wonder how many multiple-vote voters there are on that site)... Has StarTrek.com done a similar poll? The closest I found was

When I voted last week, I voted DS9. I'm like ElimParra:

    I'm a huge DS9 fan too.

I'm glad to see DS9 is crushing TNG.

    I feel sorry for TAS.

I feel like TOS should be the default winner, even though I didn't vote for it.

    I voted with my heart!!!!

DS9 by at least five sectors. Great main characters, amazing recurring characters, all with good progression and development, strong and interesting stories which included arcs and many intertwined sub-plots that became bigger elements, plus a great look to the show (the design of the sets just make it far more visually interesting), and of course the darker edge to it which just made the series feel far more real.

For me there isn't much they could have done to improve upon it.

DS9 - the most drama, the most compelling cast. At its best as good or better than any other. At its worst, still entertaining. Plus it took ideas seriously.
