They say that creativity in Hollywood is dead... so why not take advantage of that? Our theme for this contest will be the three Rs of entertainment: reboot, remake and reimagining! Let's see avatars from your favourite (or not so favourite ) reboot! Some basic ground rules: - Your entry should be from a reboot or remake. Generally speaking, a straight sequel/prequel, a "retooling" of an existing series, or a continuation in the same milieu wouldn't count. (So, for example, TNG wouldn't count as a reboot of Star Trek.) - For this contest, SF&F is ALLOWED. (This genre does this a lot, so it doesn't seem fair to exclude them!) - Since we're looking at the reboots, your entry should have imagery from the reboot version. If you want to also include imagery from the original, that's fine, as long as something is there from the reboot. - Some properties are rebooted ad infinitum. For these, you can showcase whichever rebooted version you prefer, but let's try to keep it to just one entry per franchise/property. - Standard avatar rules apply: image should be no larger than 150 x 150, and no bigger than 140 kb if animated. - I probably won't recognize every reboot, so if you could mention where your entry is from, that'd be great!
