Thanks for the votes on last week's contest. This week's theme is Be Square: anything and everything square in shape, name, placement, etc. Some examples: keyboard keys, Post It notes, Madison Square Garden, dice, quilts. No media allowed (sorry, SpongeBob). Please keep it safe for work, as well. Standard BBS avatar rules apply: 150x150 pixels max, 140 KB max.

I'll put the poll up Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on time.

Here's mine: not only are they square but they have little squares in them...and they're yummy.

I'm looking forward to all the creative entries on this theme. The first thing that popped into my head was the ubiquitous crocheted granny square (what yarn obsession? ;)). While searching online images I came across this fantastic variation on the granny square theme. Isn't that little owl cute as the dickens? I need to try making one myself.

In honor of honor of squares, here's Cee Lo Green's cover of Buddy Holly's (or is it Elvis') - (You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care.

You know, I think it's an acnestor of micro SD. Hard to imagine, I know, but just look at that family resemblence.

Then again, it might be one of those things the cavemen bound at the end of a stick to make a fly swatter.
