It might be a touch early, but yeah I agree, I'm thinking Die Hard V - Not Good.
And you might be wrong.
Could be, but not counting on it. The action genre has been hurting. Expendables was bad, last Die Hard was terrible... I think the last decent one I saw was the last Rambo movie, which wasn't exactly great.
Why is this not a Christmas release... I know Die Hard is one of my X'mas staple films.
That...looks like it might actually be good...colour me pleasantly surprised!
I dunno, I definitely got a negative vibe from the Prometheus trailers...
Short featurette. Most of the footage is from the trailer but there are one or two clips and one-liners I don't remember hearing or seeing before. There's also a short interview with Jai White. Interestingly, he seems to be keeping his native Aussie accent for the interview but has an American one for the movie, obviously.
New poster - I suspect some of you won't like the tagline.
And the word is... "looking".
Instead of remove a word, just reword it altogether.
Die Hard V-Might Actually Be Good
From the first teaser trailer ending with McClaine referring to himself as the "007 of Plainfield, New Jersey" to the poster declaring "Yippie Ki-yay Mother Russia", I've been excited about this movie. It "looks" magnificent... funny... exciting... action packed... etc.
Certainly looking forward to it far more than I was the last one. (And even it was pretty damn good.)
Cop / spy movies are always better with Russia involved.
Even Police Academy Mission to Moscow?
Absolutely. Can you imagine what would have happened with a Police Academy Mission to Poughkeepsie?
In that case, I dread to think how bad The Saint would have been had it not been in Russia.
The only thing that I kind of find tasteless is the female assassins that appeared in the last movie, and it looks in this movie. Are they trying to sell tickets by having John McClain beat up hot women?
Or them beat him up?
Maybe at first.. but like the last one, if the stakes are high enough, he'll hafta dispense with them.
Not following you here.
I sware... Am I the only person who actually likes that movie?
