Ah, okay. That's cool, since I'm quite happy with the Tim Curry, et. al movie anyway. :)

    Back to Star Trek. ;)

Family Guy. "We now return to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, edited for sheep!"

KHAN: I shall leave you as you left me....as you left her. Marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet. Buried alive. Buried alive.

KIRK: (angry, Billy Idol-esque lip curl as his head twitches) BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This site keeps saying : a plugin is needed to display this content.
And it won't offer any plugin to download so I can see the videos.

What the hell ever happened to just YouTube prompts? Because whatever this other playback method is...it's shit.

(No bad on you, BillJ....just hating whatever this current embed/protocol is.)

YouTube videos should only need the Flash plugin to play (I'm guessing you're using Firefox?) If Flash is not enabled, you might get a message like that.

Aren't most YT clips in HTML5 format now? Shouldn't even need Flash anymore, esp. since Flash is such a security risk.

Depends on the browser and vintage of OS, I believe. If your rig is all brand-new, then yes, clips would automatically play in HTML5. If your rig is a few years old, like what I'm using, then it still needs Flash to play.

I didn't appreciate Steve Jobs until he killed Flash. It was the most god-awful thing from the start and as a developer I, too, never wanted anything to do with it.
