Has there been any information as to when we can expect the "Caprica" pilot to be released on DVD in Europe? I've been checking the internet for a while now, but I've found nothing so far.

$245 for the Blu-ray set... I can deal with that.

More than I was hoping for--I'd hoped for the MSRP to be about $250--but it's still only a 10% premium over buying the seasons individually from Amazon, which isn't too bad.

Same here, and trading up my DVD sets toward it will help, too.

As soon as it's available from somewhere where I won't get charged import duty, I'll be all over that.

^ Well, hopefully the region B set will be released soon as well.

Update: Universal has issued a press release with all the bonus features for both the 4.5 DVD as well as info on the complete series. For some reason the Blu-Ray is listed as a 2.35:1 aspect ratio, I assume that must be a mistake. Looks like Olmos will be doing audio commentaries, very cool.

I hope that 2.35:1 is a mistake, but coming from the studio that botched their transfers of S1 of House (non-anamorphic) and decided to release it as-is instead of fixing it, I'm not exactly trusting them to do it right. *sigh*

What aspect ratio is it supposed to be?

1.78:1, which the DVDs are correctly noted as being in the same press release.

^ It's possible the Blu-ray release is based on a template and they just forgot to change the AR.

    That's what I'm hoping. It's just not what I'm expecting. :)

^ Honestly, I'm not worried about it. There is absolutely no reason for the BDs to be 2.35:1.
