Haha, what incredible timing you have. I was just looking for this thread, and saw it wasn't on the first page, so I figured I'd pop over to page two and give it a bump in old Sombrero fashion, but alas I arrived at page two and it wasn't there... I moved on to page three and it still couldn't be found. I was about to head on into the dark depths of page four when it occurred to me that it couldn't possibly be THAT far back... so I returned to page one to find it at the top. You'd bumped it after I'd loaded page one, but before I'd loaded page two. Quite the timing.

no problem XP. Random question, has any one made a sombereroprise comic yet?

EDIT: We should do one like the comic in the trek art forum!

Blue Warp Nacelles will never die. It will always rise from Page 3 to revive our faith in Photoshopping and sombreros.

So sayeth the hombres. So sayeth the flock.

Wow... Just when I begin to doubt the power of the sombrero, it rises again and reaffirms my belief in the holiest of holies - the blue warp nacelles!

"Oh Lord, bless these thy blue warp nacelles, that with them thou mayest convey the Sombrero unto the masses, in thy mercy." And the Robau did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruitbats.

I never made a Sombreroprise comic, but I did make some sombrero'd BWN covers:

Click on them for full sized versions.

I remember the first one, but did we see the second and third already?

    Edit:

Okay, we did -- here and here. Quite a bit has happened since then.

Blue Warp Nacelles cured my Super AIDS. That's all anyone ever needs to know about this gift to humanity.

now all we need to do is put one in every hotel in the United states.

    my favorite verse is this:

The Book of Nacelles, chapter 7 verse 6.
"and kirk did say: "go forth my children and place sombreros upon all of my creation, lest I be angry and smite thee with the power of my Pez"

I woke in the Kelvin's doorway
    Captain Robau knew my name
He said "You can go fix the blue warp nacelles
If you can get up and walk away"
