Gary and Jim's WHITE ALBUM had that sound bite on the original pressing, you know.
The whole album was Mexican themed at first. But the stuffed shirts at Parlaphone said it wouldn't sell, so it had to be redone sans sombreros, 'taches and salsa.
But there are a few bootlegs in circulation...
It originally came with little cardboard cutout sombreros. But they proved too expensive to keep making with the record being so affordable.
How to make your own sombrero
Can we tone down the silliness a little?
That is now the most awesome thing ever. And I got my name up in lights.
oh cool a play on one of the old curt sidomak movies..
woo hoo mystery science theatre..
I hope I can at least do the special effects for this.
Even if Star Trek XI turns out to be the greatest movie ever, it will still never deliver the level of entertainment that this thread continues to deliver.
And I suppose, indirectly, we have J.J. Abrams to thank for that, as well.
The MST3K pic is great Gep. Here's one for you NCC-1701 (and some others)
^ Now that is just awesome! Very cool!
I'm sure we will live up to this 5000 posts prophecy.
Heh heh heh.
If the next movie doesn't feature ITL and LCARS 24 then I'm boycotting the franchise!
Great movie posters Carpe Occasio - I love them!
I hope nobody feels left out from my last couple of images. I'm wowed by the work of ITL and LCARS24. I appreciate Pookha and others. I just used some names from early on in the thread as that seemed appropriate. And I couldn't fit everyone in, the thread is just too damn big!
Personally, I am heartbroken and feeling possibly suicidal. "I think I need a hug!"
AWWW!!! You are the best! What a nice gesture. Your work has inspired me to ply my meager "skills" in MS Paint to create new avatars. Mind you, they are only copy & paste... but nonetheless inspired by you and other creative minds in this thread.
