    That was a very interesting article, thanks for linking it. Given the interviewee also draws on Babylon 5, Star Wars and the first two Star Treks though it could be in other forums.

    My favorite spaceship for battle is still that one from Farscape - no, not Moya - the "swarm" one that was contructed from a large number of smaller ships that could coalesce or break apart as the situation demanded.

    That takes care of this complaint:

    But complaining that there isn't enough attention paid to logistics or the characters don't do enough paperwork is silly. Might as well complain that the camera doesn't show them sleeping for 8 hours either. The intent is entertainment, so we can assume the boring parts happen but are "edited out."
