    Well, technically, we've had ours since 1965, if you're counting the comic books . . . .

(Strange Tales #135, to be exact!)

And we had a second one in the 70's. We used it to chase Godzilla.

Nah, you just forgot what "fun" was for a moment.
It'll pass when you're engulfed in the movie and loving every second of it. :techman:

LOL WTF! Dark Knight Rises will surely kick ass, but that contraption is a bit ridiculous looking! And yes the Hellicarrier taking off was ridiculously cool!

Now I'm starting to feel inferior. Your RL VTOLs don't help either. :(

Helicarriers are awesome. They've been part of the Marvel scene for as long as I've been reading back starting back in the late 60's. To go by wiki, Jack Kirby started using them in Marvel comics back in 1965 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helicarrier

"Get away from her you bitch!"

Apparently Batman is rushing to save Newt from Catwoman and her eggs.

Wow, just watched the Japanese trailer... Why didn't they release that here? The new footage makes me all the more eager to see this movie. It looks great. I just hope that the rest of the film lives up to what we've seen thus far.
