Any good Japanese movies to watch?

    You should also give the classics a try.

    The above mentioned titles plus a catalog of titles by Akira Kurosawa come to mind. I highly recommend Yojimbo, Throne of Blood, and Kagemusha to name but a few...

    If you like Horror, check out the Original Japanese "The Grudge", called Ju-On. Additionally, there's a movie about a phone message that kills, (or something like that) that was seriously creepy.

    i'm not much of a horror guy. are there any other new movies out there? i'm looking forward to watching space battleship.

    Great film. My wife and I also thoroughly enjoyed it.

    I recommend you checkout Yamato (animated or the recent live-action film) if you want to watch Japanese films with spaceships.

    I especially recommend the first film in the Trilogy.

    Now we know where Mr. Miyagi learned how to catch files with a pair of chopsticks! :lol:

    Demon Pond is from 1979, Daimajin movies is from 1966, there is a Daimajin TV series made in 2010 which is set in modern times. I haven't seen it so I couldn't say how godd it may or may not be. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimajin_Kanon
