Ah, okay. Thanks.
^Is it getting so late that you have trouble following the thread
(It's real: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spetsnaz_GRU)
Holy inappropriate use of "quotation marks", Batman
^ "you're" *twitch*
Not only that, but the quotation marks are inconsistent.
^ me too.
And tell me, that "G" is that how it's supposed to look? -It's very different from the way I was taught to write!
Yeah, that's a capital cursive G. I mean, not a great one, but that's the general shape.
^Each to their own, I suppose, This is how I was taught a G should look:
That thing in the poster looks like and I and an S in some sort of awkward embrace
Your version is just more slanty and has fewer loops, but the general shape is pretty much the same.
^I've searched that image and the only thing I get is people poking fun at it -in much the same way it pokes fun at something....
Thing is: I haven't got the faintest idea just exactly what that something is
^ Here you go:
Some advice from an 80s Irish Mammy from Moone Boy!
^I've only watched the first ep yet so I don't get that either.
^ Thanks! - didn't help me understand what's going on (didn't that sword come from a stone or an anvil or something? -or is that just a Disenyism or a Pratchettism?) -but always nice to see something from those guys
Did give me something to google though.
Good Lord. That's a lot of" unnecessary" "quotation" "marks," and there's some fairly Random decision-making On capitalization, As Well.
You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.!!
^That's the comment I found while searching around for meaning of that image
AND which writing to use for capitalization! some of those are cursive (the G) and some aren't (most, if not all, of the rest -they definitely aren't the capitals I was taught back in the seventies).
Separate names with a comma.
