The more that meme persists the more irritated I get at that interfering old cow.
I still don't understand how she could have messed it up so badly.
I've been enjoying these all morning...
This one's still my favorite:
Also: Something we can all agree on:
I wish I had watched the debates. I'm still pretty confused about this binder/women thing.
Here you go. Enjoy!
He was making a point on how great he was at treating women equally in the workplace...
“And I—and I went to my staff, and I said, ‘How come all the people for these jobs are—are all men.’ They said: ‘Well, these are the people that have the qualifications.’ And I said: ‘Well, gosh, can't we—can't we find some—some women that are also qualified?’ And—and so we—we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet. I went to a number of women's groups and said: ‘Can you help us find folks,’ and they brought us whole binders full of women.”
Of course he meant to say "binders full of resumes from qualified women"...but he didn't. And it was funny.
Then the internet took over.
Love the bottom one So true.
lol that last one...my 15 yr old brother found it online...
See? Yakov Smirnoff is still occasionally funny.
Well, okay...not really.
Oh my God! I laughed so damn hard I had tears rolling down my face.
I'm going to Hell. I know.
When was he ever not funny??
^ Love it.
In fairness, she did have some guidance from His Trolliness, Jesus Christ.
And just because I still find this meme hilarious.
From my new favorite tumblr, Arrested Decision 2012 (a mashup of photos from the 2012 presidential election and quotes from Arrested Development:
Those made me crack up just now.
I'm not quite getting the Steve Holt reference, but the binder ones are funny.
Steve Holt was a character on the show who, whenever he heard his name, he'd raise his arms up and dofist-pumps in the air while exclaiming "STEVE HOLT!"
Separate names with a comma.
