For years the Doctor struggles to find a name.

    Holo Doc?
    Doctor?
    Schweitzer?
    Shmullus?
    Nothing seems to fit.

This thread is open for suggestions. Be creative. It might be even funny. ;)

hux inspired me for this thread.... :)

I don´t know why the Doctor needs so much time to find a name. Everyone else in this forum is quite creative to give himself/herself a name. ;)

He has the appearance of a mild-mannered Caucasian human. It would be interesting if he chose a name that did not fit that mold at all. Perhaps "Kur'vak the Brave, Slayer of Ten Thousand Targs."

    ArseClown (suits him)

Ha!!!! Without that Hollow it sounds like Doctor Bob, the Doc from the German "I´m a celebrity get me out of here" version :). Being in the Jungle and being in the Delta Quadrant is obviously not that different.

It's because he has given himself a name, the most glorious name ever.

    "Doctor"

Why get addressed by a common moniker that anyone could have through absolutely no effort of their own when you can be addressed by the admiring multitudes as something they cannot do?

I was thinking of something like that, going for a name of a character from the past like Dr. Willard Decker.

The Emergency Medical Hologram should have been Doctor Marcus Graham

The only reason one timeline of the Doctor went with "Joe" was because his arrogance eventually reached total saturation and the only way to increase his wonderfulness in his own eyes was to embrace humility. Joe is a badge of his chill awesomeness.

No. He took the name to solve an argument or secure sex from his wife.

Although, why would any woman want to scream their grandfathers name in ecstasy during sexual climax?

    Odd girl.

Of course, can you enter into a legal contract, like marriage, without a name?
