yeah, candies or sweets could be right there...
Lollies, yes. I thought that only refers to those on a stick...
I dunno Bird, but that is what I meant by lollies. Do you see them sitting out of wrappers? Maybe they are gum balls?
If it's on a stick it's lollipops.
Lollies in Australia is any kind of candy but usually simple ones like these. Often round and in a wrapper.
The white one on the left seems to be still in wrapping. The others? Hard to say...
In the very first picture you posted, I didn't recognise Janeway. The enhanced picture is really cute...
You see how the red and the green balls have white bits on the bottom and ends? I think that is the shiny clear wrapping, they just don't have huge tie bits sticking out.
It's not really Janeway, it's her ancestor
Beneath the wrapping that has "chips" written on it are some brown things. They look like small bars of marcipan, which are covered in chocolate and someone already nibbled at them
Oh yeah! they look like something that is chocolate coated and has been bitten.
iPhoto editing feature will let you see this, if you have it. Just pull up the exposure and shadows.
Interesting mystery. The french fries look like Frylock from Aqua Teen Hunger Force but the episode (5/99) predates that (pilot 12/00, series 9/01). And when I first saw the pic in the thread, I did not think Transformers as the objects looked nothing like robots and I was sure a tv series wouldn't use another licensed tv/toy/movie-based product without permission and usually they have it because they want it there (e.g. Seinfeld with the Superman statue).
Maybe if I can find some good pics/video, I could present the possible origin of the "death dolphins" from Equinox.
The.. death dolphins?
I guess DeepSpaceWine refers to those creatures that were used as fuel?
And that bag with the writing? Jolly Rogers/Jolly Rancher candy -- see http://www.epinions.com/food_and_dr...rtical_~all/search_string_~jolly rogers candy for a clearer view of their logo.
I thought the red and green blobs were hole-less life savers.
I'm breaking out in zits just looking at that sleeping bag ...
Do you think there would be actual brand names on the sleeping bag?
I got the impression the death dolphins must be seen on something from the way DSW said it but.. guess I will wait and see.
I googled "death dolphins" and found a review of Equinox II in which this term was indeed used to describe the nucleogenic lifeforms. But we will see if DSW was talking about them or something else.
Wow, I can't believe I've never heard that term. It's not like we haven't had a few hundred thousand Equinox threads, LOLOL
Does this look like a Death Dolphin????
It resembles more a hybrid between a flatworm and a bat.
It's a really ugly kite.
Yeah, I remembered the term from way back when, just like the Threshold creature was sometimes called a transwarp frog (I always use the more correct term transwarp salamander). I think the dolphin name came from the fact they can only exist outside their dimension for a short time, like a fish out of water and that they're intelligent. And what the Equinox was doing was just a 24th century equivalent of clubbing baby seals or engaging in dolphin hunts.
Separate names with a comma.
