I got the hardened edition pretty much purely for the CoD one code.
Ditto. I've never played the original CoD.

Just placed my pre-order. Since I'm an Amazon Prime member, I'll also get it delivered on release day for free. Free release day delivery plus a $20 credit towards a future game purchase? You can't beat that.

Re: Gaming Deals

Best Buy's B2G1free promotion has started.

You can mix and match too--I just checked their website to see if I could add Fallout 3 and Dirt 2 on the 360 and Uncharted 2 on the PS3, and it charged me for the first two and gave me the last one for free, bringing the pre-tax total to around $120.

Great deal if you have 3 games you've been waiting on.

If your games are out of stock in-store, there's free shipping on a lot of the titles on the Best Buy web site.

Ugh, I missed this by a couple of days on my Batman/Uncharted/Uncharted 2 purchase. Trying to convince them to give me the credit anyway... Batman and Uncharted 2 are unopened so I could just return them and reorder to qualify... Or got to Best Buy... First email got me nowhere. I don't want to be that much of an ass, but I'm a good consistent customer that they should think about throwing a bone!

Doesn't seem like there's a lot of Wii activity in this forum, but Nov. 1-7 is buy 2, get 1 free at Target for Wii games.

Steam is in the middle of running a special 5 day sale event. Each day, a different set of games has their prices reduced by anything from 30% to 75%.

Link.

Nice! Too bad it's still not worth that much, IMO.

I fell for Peter Molyneux's Fable II hype train hook, line and sinker and got an end product that only barely nicked the surface of that hype. Hopefully the game appeals to you more than it did to me.

^Awesome! I wanted to make something like that but I don't have the room to build, the room to store, nor the know-how on the more Hardware Hank aspects on the construction.

Wii and PS2 are great, but where's the MAME baby?

Dead Space, Mirror's Edge and Fight Night Round 4 are all $14.99 at Best Buy this week.

I'm kind of interested in Dead Space and Mirror's Edge, so I might have to grab them for the price of an XBLA/PSN game each.
