Re: Looking for something...
![]() kia, games like Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, and Lego Indiana Jones are all great places to start on PS2. They're not frustrating or punishing at all, can be played together with hubby, and they're can all be had pretty cheap. They have puzzles that that both of you will need to work together to solve. They're also great fun and VERY humorous.. |

Re: Looking for something...
![]() But yeah, I'd really recommend getting a Wii (or if you don't want to spend much, maybe a used GameCube with some of the fun multi-player games). Nintendo seems to specialize in the fun multiplayer games that aren't all "HARDCORE"

How the hell is anyone being rude? I don't know what thread you've been reading but I have seen nothing but friendly suggestions in this thread. |

Re: Looking for something...
![]() darthraidr, thanks for the link. The LOTR one looks intriguing, as does Champions of Norrath. Have any of you played either of those? Or others from that link? Recommendations?

Re: Looking for something...
ark Alliance games and Hunter:The Reckoning... i'll be honest with you, that style of game, the RPG hack and slash, is one of my favorites. they are simple fun, and made even more fun with more people playing. a couple games that weren't on that list but are similar (and i've played co-op and enjoyed): Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows http://ps2.ign.com/articles/675/675582p1.html X-Men Legends http://ps2.ign.com/articles/549/549704p1.html X-Men Legends 2 http://ps2.ign.com/articles/652/652746p1.html Marvel: Ultimate Alliance http://ps2.ign.com/articles/741/741698p1.html similar games on the PC exist: Titan Quest http://pc.ign.com/articles/714/714552p1.html and if you don't mind your games looking very dated there is Diablo 2 http://pc.ign.com/articles/160/160629p1.html i am really looking forward to Diablo 3 |

Does that mean that it is a split-screen? You take turns? How do I know what I would expect? Help me, O TrekBBS Gamers!

Re: Looking for something...
@ self) you've been very helpful! ![]() I think I am going to go with Champions of Norrath - it looks like a lot of fun, and I know Mr. kia enjoys Baldur's Gate, which this seems to be compared to.
