Civilization Revolution - anything similar?

We've just started buying games for our PS3.

My wife chose Civilization Revolution as her first game and loves it. She said "ask your Trek friends if there's anything else like it?"

Any suggestions for other strategy type games, guys?

Would "Galactic Civilizations" count?

For the PS3?

Do you download games? Maybe you should read the reviews for Age of Booty to see if it's your type of game.

Are you looking for turn-based games in general? I guess RPGs are a whole different level though.

On PS3, no. On PC:

-Civilization 4 (and expansions)
-Sins of a Solar Empire
-Empire: Total War
-Alpha Centauri

Yeah, if you do PC games, Civilization 4, 3, 2, and 1 are all similar (as is Alpha Centauri).

No way. Red Alert 3 is nothing like Civ Revolution.
