A sweet potato and green beans fresh out of the garden.

I actually cooked a small turkey breast, but the sweet potato was so big I didn't eat any of it.

Only cure for that is thorough, vigorous, sweat-inducing exercise, just work it off... then if anything spins, you won't notice.

Yes, lady friend would probably have appreciated hearing that it's "doctor's orders".

Ah, but she's a doctor too, and already has someone to fill out her private prescriptions, so to speak...

If he lets her out to get totally smashed and sleep it off in hotel rooms with with crafty gentlemen like you... he obviously doesn't mind. Maybe he wanted a night of rest.

Sirloin steak with sauteed onions and mushrooms with french fries. Tasty!

I think I'm going to have to close the book on this pleasant little fantasy before my imagination runs away with me...

Excellent choice, sir. I was thinking about that myself for this evening since I have a nice fillet steak in the fridge. But I over-ate for lunch so I'm not sure I'll be hungry enough by the evening. Maybe tomorrow.

Last night was a mix of Sainbury's and Marks & Spencer... I don't know what I'm going to do when I go home.

Tonight is strictly Sainsbury's, some salads and a trifle before heading out to a Prom tonight. Looking out my little flat window, it's pouring outside, so hopefully it gets it out before I have to head out to RAH. They'd been saying terrible weather all day, so it's lovely that it held off until now.

I had a crap pizza for tea, but I added extra cheese, bacon and onion to try and make it interesting. I missed.

Re: What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Tonight me and kiddo had some pancake leftovers.

That was then followed by a hastily whipped up light-chocolate and nuts cake (which I served to my diet-skipping twinsister and the rest of the family) served with strawberries and whipped cream.

My brother had called me a short time earlier with a "Your sister has a few words for you..." "Bake me something good and unhealthy". And she would not specify what she wanted, so I had to wing it.

Last night, I made whole wheat bread stuffed with cheese, mushrooms, olives, and veggie pepperoni. I killed my dough (the proof was fine, but the dough still refused to rise) so it was very dense, but still good.

Tonight, I'm making tvp enchiladas.
