Just had a BBQ at my house with some friends:

chicken and steak shish kabobs
Bbq'd roasted potatoes
BBQ corn
Citrus couscous salad

Turned out DELICOUS

We had a French market in the town where I work yesterday. As in literally, French merchants came over for a few days, with food and other goodies from France to sell over here. It's an annual tradition. A lot of the stuff is overpriced supermarket-quality goods, but if you shop carefully there are some lovely, more artisanal, foodstuffs available.

I got some Brie & Comte (both made from unpasteurised cheese, which always seems to add something to the flavour), good fresh bread, and a lovely baked custard prune tart. So yeah, that's what I've been eating.
