I voted the fourth, as it should be Spock/Saavik.
No offense, but that's kinda boring, not to mention a little icky.

More than a little icky and boring at the same time.

She's a character from TOS movies, played by Kirstey Alley in STII: The Wrath of Khan and Robin Curtis in STIII: The Search for Spock and STIV: The Voyage Home (Alley wasn't available so they just changed the actress). She was a Vulcan (a half-Romulan according to some sources) Starfleet officer and Spock's protege. I can't say more without spoiling the movies.

See The Search for Spock for the answer...

^ Because Spock was her mentor - sort of half teacher, half uncle (and I think there is speculation, though I don't know how cannonical, that he might have been more closely related than that?) Yeah, it really would have been kind of icky, IMO.

We've gotta be honest here though. There is ST:III, but to me that didn't really count as it was more a matter of survival than of romance.

I don't know about him being related to her, but I know that they never seemed to have any romantic interest in each other that we know of - not on screen, anyway - and Saavik did it with a teenage resurrected Spock only to help save his life. And not only was he a teenager physically, but since he was without his katra (living spirit) and he grew up into a teenager in a matter of hours and days, all alone on the Genesis planet, without having any chance to develop mentally according to his physical age, he was mentally and emotionally a baby for all intents and purposes. That alone is more than enough to make it very icky as far as I'm concerned.

Ya know, they actually do marry in the books. But thankfully, a lot of crap happens in the books that ain't canon. With all due respect to the author.

I've watched the movies and read the book referred to but was unaware of the possible family ties. *runs away to hide and rethink whole dern thing*

How close is the alleged tie? Is he an uncle or cousin or is Saavik another secret/hereunto unknown sibling?

^ Well, I could easily be wrong, but...

Personally, I think the mentor/semi-uncle thing makes it icky enough, but maybe that's just me.
