I never understood the problem either. Why start a new thread when there's a perfectly good one that already exists that contains relevant commentary?

Can I ask the mod to explain why zombie threads are bad when he/she inevitably locks this one?

The issue is more of how much content is or can be added when someone resurrects a thread that's been dormant for so long. Of course, you have to love the fact that this happened in a "Buffy" thread....
