Lana Lang's "Special" Destiny What Do You Think the Legion Meant? - Page 3

The original poster suggested that Lana's character was ruined by her crappy exit from the show. I think that's immaterial compared to her crappy entrance and crappy sustained presence as the 2nd most obnoxious character in TV history. Oddly enough, #1 most obnoxious is Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, another character with a tacked on "special destiny."

I suggest that Lana's character was further ruined by her crappy exit...correction my good sir! The entire series has ruined Lana's character made her hated by Superman fans alike and I don't hold the entire blame at Kristen Kruek's feet, she only acted what the writers wrote.

^No, she didn't. For her to act what the writers wrote, she would have to be capable of acting in the first place.

She drained the life out of every scene she was in. Even some of the extremely limited actors they've had as regulars on this show like Welling and Hartley have struggled along without the kind of reaction Kreuk has received. Then you have actors with actual talent and ability like Allison Mack, Michael Rosenbaum and John Glover who can rise above whatever problems there might be with the script.

I'd love to see her get her teeth into a couple episodes of Breaking Bad or Weeds, show her what it's like to get a script with out a net.

Hmmmm, he's not so great either, IMHO. He's a cut above some of the pretty boys (Welling, Hartley, Ackles) cast on the basis of what they look like with their shirts off, I suppose.

Did he make any comment about how they were reinserting him back into the script of Dexter for the first half of his trip through Smallville? In Dexter of Course, Sam pretended to be the ice truck killer because being famous is lovely... So in one he was lying that he was a serial killer and in the other he was lying that he was not a serial killer. Coincidental or taliored to fit in the guys imbd listing which should resonate subconciously with the audience... Besides, I'm far more afraid of Dexter's "Dark Passenger" than I am of davis Blooms.

then again when the Chief took him out in Battlestar, that was Awsome.... Wait? was it the Chief or baltar? ...Or kally? Hells, I need to watch seaosn two again, all I'm finding in my memory banks is a conspiracy of silence on the matter.

I LOVE her.

Although I may never forgive her ducking out on the TERRIBLE new Deadlike movie, since her stand in was pants. Jack Baur chose the wrong sister to get all mooneyed over.

I have very little idea what you are talking about.

I assume there's something in there about Laura Harris not appearing in the Dead Like Me Direct-to-DVD movie and being replaced with, ironically, her on screen sister from 24 Sarah Wynter.

Even more impressive, John Glover was one of the few really great performances in Batman & Robin.
