American Idol New Season Starts

But I used to like this show. I still do, depending on the season and how good the contestants are. I wonder how it's going to be like without Ms. Paula Abdul (being replaced by Ellen Degeneres). This is also Simon Cowell's last season.

I watched the Boston auditions on Tuesday night (01/12), and it was underwhelming for the most part. I didn't see any smoking hot auditioners, and there were not many crazy ones as well. I didn't even recognize Posh Spice/Mrs. Beckham on the judge panel.

Tonight ... Atlanta.

I will only care when Joe Jonus is the guest judge.

I watched 5-7 minutes, which was about 3 people. I couldn't take anymore when the got the gayest guy in NH to try and sing.. I went "Fuck AI" and went back to reading.

I know she hasn't turned up yet, but I still can't understand why Ellen of all people was picked to replace Paula.

I just don't care for this show now...watched it a few years back but it is just boring.

Paula's gone. Simon is leaving after this season. Not that people watch the show for the judges, but it's going to be different without two of the three original judges. With Ellen's funny and charismatic presence, it should be interesting to watch, but we'll see. I just have this feeling that it's going to get canceled in a few years.
