Trek video content new distribution path options
ST: Enterprise is available on XBOX360. This is new. Sony Adds 16 Content Providers To PlayStation Network Also Launches Video Service For PlayStation Portable
http://www.multichannel.com/article/...on_Network.php I think we may see Trek available on Playstation Network store. I brought up the idea of possibly releasing a new animated Trek serialized episodic show on XBOX or Playstation's store. As far a portable units the 3 main contenders are Apple's iPod, ZuneHD (September 2009), and Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) system. These 3 downloadable content vendors (Apple, Microsoft, Sony) just may become the next ABC, CBS, NBC in the next 10 years. TimeWarner, Comcast, RCN, AT&T, Verizon don't seem to have the kind of control and deals over content for sale. They seem to be more of just dumb pipes moving data. Discuss. |
