A CGI "ruins" scene, expanding the TOS "City" into a real "lost city" situation? That would be cool to see. On the other hand... a "cadet" with no "street rep" in here comes in and tosses out a grenade without giving us any idea who he (or she) is, and what he (or she) is doing? Yeah, damned hard to get excited. So... tell us more, or don't tell us anything (yet).
