What is your favorite Star Trek uniform? - Page 11

I like Voyager's the best (there's something I don't say). Second favourite TOS's. Least favourite are the grey ones from the TNG movies and later seasons of Deep Space Nine, I think they look horrible.

That's embarrassing. I didn't vote for it, but it's actually my second favourite. I would have voted for it if I didn't like the early DS9 uniforms so much.

I voted for the Tos movie unifroms and second runner up is the Enterprise uniforms

To me, nothing says "Star Trek" like the the original series uniforms. If I were in space, that's what I'd wear! I'm not so keen on the DS9 and First Contact styles - too much black for me. Bright colours are what Star Trek's all about!

My favorite were the late DS9 uniforms, in part because they were used for the shortest time (and I haven't rewatched those episodes too much) but they did seem the most dramatic, a good reflection of the war and shades of gray that were occurring in those episodes (which in a way reflect the conclusion of the world TNG and ST set up).

I voted for Movies 2-6.

But I also love the duty uniforms on ST XI - and I really love the Kelvin uniforms.

Honorable mention to Enterprise - they looked like they were very practical.

Love the FC uniforms. The only other uniform that i truly loved is the green tunic Kirk/Shatner wore. Damn, i loved that thing!

After some consideration I've changed my choices...

Favorite uniforms: Enterprise

Runner up: The monster-maroons from ST II through VII.

I voted for the movie "monster maroons," but just watched TSFS last night and they seem bulky/complicated. The simplicity of TOS: untucked sweatshirt basically, makes good sense.

My problem with the TOS uniforms is that they have too much simplicity. Looks like a buncha guys just went to a store and bought matching long-sleeve shirts and then reported for starship duty. All the others (including the STXI ones-that's one of the things I liked about the movie) excluding perhaps the ridiculous space pajamas of TMP actually look like uniforms.

I never knew they'd be able to take the old series uniforms, tweak them a bit, and then reintroduce them in a new way for the 2009 flick. The last ones are really superbly done.

I prefer the DS9 uniforms -- first the FC uniforms, followed by the black suits with colored shoulders Voyager/early DS9 look. Of course, I'd stick the new movie uniforms in the middle.

TOS female uniform, minis and go-go boots. One thing the nu-movie got right was the fabric on the dresses and the guys shirts, wonderful.
