Wonderful! Mal suits the gold. And I love the idea of Jayne working security

Yeah, great stuff, ITL. Now let's see Wash and Zoe!

Not sure what color shirt Book would wear...
Thanks

I'm doing one at the moment of all nine characters - Mal, Zoe and Wash in gold, Kaylee, Jayne and River in red, which leaves blue for Simon, Inara and Book. I used logic where I could, but in the absence of any I went for what looked good. Plus, three of each balances out nicely.

Yeah, that works nicely. Zoe in gold makes sense--she's Mal's Number One, after all.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

^ I wasn't too happy with the finished piece, so I did the "folds and creases" thing on it for that washed out, distressed feel and it looks a lot better:

That is amazing! I'm glad you went for the creases - it really looks like it came free with a fan magazine from the seventies or something.

Billiant work ITL.

EDIT: How on earth did you do it? Did you take pictures of them and add the Trek uniforms, or find Trek characters and add their heads? It all looks so seamless - I'd swear it was an actual photo if I didn't know better.

You might even say it's...shiny.

I can't get over Wash. It's like he's very interested in Jayne's back for some reason.

I used both methods. For example, Mal is simply Kirk's body with Mal's head stuck on, whereas for Zoe I used bits from three different Trek pictures to make the uniform which got blended into a picture of Zoe holding a gun.
