BK fries aren't as good as they were when I was a kid and teenager.
Neither are McDonald's (they had to change an ingredient after a lawsuit), but I'll agree that McDonald's has slipped far less.

The King knew it was Ronald.

He knew it all along.

He broke his heart.

He broke his HEART.
So he made him an offer he could not refuse. Ronald refused it.
You go against the king...you go against the royal family.

Don't ever take sides against the royal family. EVER.

I actually liked the old Burger King. Their food used to be a lot better (especially the fries) back then, too.
Actually, I do like McDonald's fries better than BK's. That might seem like high treason against the King, but truth is truth. BK fries aren't as good as they were when I was a kid and teenager.
Nothing at BK is good as it was before their commercial use of the microwave oven.

I swear I remember an 80s Burger King ad with the a bearded actor playing the king, hanging out with some kids, then his cape catches on fire(the fire was obviously animated) and he does the whole S.D.R. manuever. I dont know why I still remember it to this day. When they brought the king back in his, uh, new form, & I saw the first ads I was simultaneously struck with nostalgia & terror.
Was the 80's version just as scary?
dont remember too well exactly what he looked like, but it was something like the Brawny guy but wearing more bling.

whoo! I found an old commercial with the actor playing the King!

The dude in purple with the long nose looks scarier then the Burger King. At least they got rid of him!!!

I completely agree. I think McDonald's burgers used to be better for some reason as well.

The new Sir Mix-a-Lot/Spongebob commercial with The King is hilarious. The King pointing at, touching and measuring chick booty? Sounds like I've found my avatar if I can get the right flash animation.

For one they used to be bigger...

I make a motion that anyone who likes the square butts Burger King commercial should be banished from this board... All in favor?

I never eat at Burger King anymore if I can help it, so I won't be getting the glasses.

I still have a Taco Bell Star Trek III glass (with Kruge) and a Return of the Jedi glass. I can't believe they haven't been broken in 25 years and two moves!
