Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
Regardless, I did enjoy this episode and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. I was checking out the upcoming episodes on IMDB, and it seems we're going to be seeing some familiar faces in the coming weeks. Apparently, the season will be over before May, which is a Sweeps month. How odd. I wonder why that is? I have to say, it's nice to actually be somewhat excited about this show again. Still not quite at Season One level of interest, but this is a nice boost. |

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
i find it amusing how people keep saying they're gonna quit watching the show week in and week out, yet they keep coming back for more. i heard all this when Lost was in its slump, and its corrected itself and the people have rejoiced, i think in time this show will too. Still no paradigm shift in improvement, but it'll be gradual that's for sure, we just have to be patient. and i do think Fugitives has been alot better than Villains and Generations, |

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
Looks like Shapeshifting has a limit since Sylar's clothes stay the same whenever he changes. So Sylar can't be Nathan wearing a suit and tie one moment and be Claire in a dress seconds later. But I doubt he needs the power at all since he could kill anyone on this show right now. I thought it was a nice character episode. |

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
My favourite bit, though, was Nathan's taking-off-the-shoe gag in the hotel room during his touching drunken speech. He sat down, took one shoe off, moved to the bed to take off the other one, gave up after a while of talking and just lay down with one shoe still on. Just thought it was a nice counterpoint to the more serious stuff going on in the actual dialogue. |

I'm glad they have Fuller back and bringing everything back into focus again. I'm upset that I'll never get to see another episode of Pushing Daisies, but I'm glad someone, somewhere recognizes how fantastic he is even if his pet project shows don't appeal to the mass audience. As much a tragedy as that is. |

How would Claire's abilities allow her to learn to become an Olympic level gymnist in an afternoon? That sounds like Micah's cousin from Season Two who can mimic anything she sees...

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
Good Points - The Sylar/Danko storyline is interesting. It's good to see Sylar being Sylar again. - Limiting this to three two-handed stories was a good idea. - Finally, the "good" guys are actually trying to do something about their situation instead of just running. Bad Points - We could have done without the Tequila business. I'd rather they just skipped past the no money situation like they did with Hiro and Ando. - Peter's rant at God was silly. Though, he really should have asked why God frakked up his powers. |

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
The problem, however, is that Claire shouldn't be able to actually improve her physical condition. Any weight training she does will just be "healed" back to normal. At best, she might be able to work on her muscle memory, allowing her to practice things like gymnastics and acrobatics, but it wouldn't go too much faster for her than it would anyone else. She'd simply be able to skip all the safety measures most people take when learning and training. I also always liked having Monica on the show. With her, Peter, and Hiro's now-dead flame (which, incidently, is why Sylar seems to be so smart now) was a great trio of powers that were similar but vastly different. One could do any physical action that any normal person could do, one could do all the extraordinary things that people with abilities could do, and one could do anything someone could learn to do by reading and studying. I just thought it was a really interesting take on the standard comic book power mimicry. |

Re: Heroes 3x21 "Into Asylum" Discuss and Grade
But she's just like Wolverine, can live forever but cant get drunk to pass the time. I liked this episode, I've liked the whole of the fugitives arc. I am interested in how all this will get sorted out, I mean it's not like just killing that Danko guy would fix it all.
