Mamma Mia! I always end up with a big smile on my face after watching it.

Hairspray (the musical, not the original movie) is a good one, too.

If I just need a laugh, Spaceballs, Airplane!, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Anchorman fit the bill.

Hairspray (the one with John Travolta)
A.I. (even though it has a very sad Happy Ending)

or maybe you want to go with Frank and Jane Drebin's kind of a feel-good movie: Platoon
