SO SAY WE ALL!

Definately right now in my top 15 shows of all time - this can jump right into the top 5 if the finale lives up to the hype that it's been getting this week.

One of my favorites of all time, along with The Shield, The Wire, The Sopranos and a few other hard-hitting dramas. It's transcended the genre in a way that no science fiction television show ever has, IMO. No, it wasn't perfect, but no television show ever is.

I'll have a lump in my throat, for sure, when it wraps up tonight.

Which is exactly why I don't think it could ever be considered THE best show ever.

Tonight I will decided whether I consider this The best show ever or not. There's been so much build up that I'm afraid to be disappointed. But if the finale is done right that will seal the deal as far as I'm concerned.

I think it's safe to say we will all miss the show. I know I will. The Vorta is right, many characters were top notch and I'll miss spending an hour a week with them.

SO SAY WE ALL!

Yup, I love it. Also, (since I am the only Scifi geek I know in real life) this is the first scifi show I've been able to get my brother and our friends to watch. So, it's been fun sharing a show I love with others for the first time. That has been a blast.

I'm just glad the writing wasn't poorly planned, incoherant or self-indulgant... it was brilliant.

An hour a week? With the way Sci-fi did things it was about 4 hours a year.

It will be a long time before anything takes "Best. Show. Ever." honors from HBOs one-two punch of The Sopranos and The Wire but BSG has taken the title of "Best. SF show. Ever." from Star Trek (TOS).

That's a big deal--to me, at least.
