I think I made a passing reference to this upthread. Still, I would not be surprised if Cavil get s a "be careful what you wish for" ending, by ending up fused to a Centurion or Raider.

You know, Sean Ellison is probably a reference to Harlan Ellison. He's a big fan of the show.

That's why I posted the picture. That is what Cavil wanted, however it has to have that twist you mentioned. Maybe he will come back as a real toaster.

People in this thread seem to be assuming that we'll be going through the black hole. But contra Disney, going in would simply squish the fleet down to a mathematical point. Which may happen.

In fact, they didn't actually call it a black hole, did they? Just a naked singularity with an accretion disk. So no ergosphere, no Big Black Sphere?

For any real justice...well poetic anyway, he has to end up either as the first basestar hybrid, or fused to an oldschool Centurion with his inhibitor chip still functioning.

BTW, AR07, that is a great pic you selected for the opening post. I can't wait to see what you come up with next week.
Thanks. I already made the last one and I think it'll make a good final banner.

Whoa no teaser this week.

And no opening spoily drums

And a flashback to pre miniseries.
Cool huh? A very different tone for the show.

QCzar wrote: View Post
So is this what Caprica will look like in the new series?
Probably, only a little bit more retro in some places.

Hartzilla2007 wrote: View Post
How far back is this flashback.
A few months before the crash I take it.

Amazing how Caprica looks exactly like present day earth except for modes of transportation.

My wife's wondering the same thing, even though they're human why all their stuff looks like it was shipped in from 21st century Earth.
cause we are all alike, their nature was to build the same kinda stuff we did
Right. They created all this stuff before and they'll probably do it again.

We need some Johnny Cash to the Galactica out on. For some reason his cover of "Hurt' comes to mind.
That made me laff.

Why doesn't BSG ever get leaked like Stargate does?
Stuff used to get leaked, but they've been doing an incredible job of keeping season 4.5 under wraps.

Did anyone get any screenies of the colony? I think I saw some structural elements in it that I find disturbing.

Thanks!

No, but I did like the colors they used for the shot.

I didn't hear this originally (probably due to EJO's tendancy to mumble) but according to Battlestar Wiki, Adama addresses Cottle by his first name. Sherman. Sherman Cottle is his full name. Like the guy from MASH.

I just listened to it Adama said, "Doc, fleet can't afford to lose a doctor. Go on back Sherman, and thank you." He kind of mumbled Sherman though.
