Makes one wonder if an historic event/disaster like the Xindi probe attack in 2153 will get mentioned when Nero's ship attacks Earth in the new movie. I mean, this is the first major attack on the planet chronologically speaking since then unless you conjecture that the Earth-Romulan War reached our own solar system at one point or another and even Earth itself(for which there is no canonical evidence). The Xindi attack happens less than a century before Nero pops into the 23rd century with the Narada. An event like that that wiped seven million people off the globe would be something most people would think about.
On Halloween Night the Great Temporal Pumpkin rises out of his chroniton patch and flies through space with his bag of new timelines for all the children.
