He's probably not related to Wolverine specifically. That looks like Sabretooth chasing after him in those hallways (a school, maybe?), maybe he's been hired to hunt down mutants for Weapon X and Scott just happened to be one of them. I dunno.

I just wish they'd drop that stupid prefix.

Okay, how did the symmetrical scar guy who is supposed to be Deadpool absorb Scott's power and get eye-beams? Are they modifying their DNA to give them the powers of the captured Mutants or something?

And I guess regular old aviator sunglasses are good enough to stop Scott's eye-beams from shining through now? Unless he's constantly just keeping his eyes shut behind them, but then that would make so deftly running down the twisting hallways of the school kind of difficult. He's obviously supposed to be pre-Xavier school here, and the lenses were black, not red...

Oh, thanks. I thought Weapon XI was going to be played by a martial artist named Scott Adkins? I guess they could just have him filling in for Ryan Reynolds to do the martial arts scenes, since his face is all jacked up anyway.

This movie looks awful. I'm sorry but it does. And that's discounting all the huge gaps in movie continuity. Bad enough they had to butcher Deadpool here, but to drag poor Cyclops back for one more round of Wolverine making him his bitch is too much. The character must have just really rubbed someone at Fox the wrong way when they were kids.

I've never read an X-Men comic, so I have no investment either way...but...at least they're being honest with themselves this time and calling it "Wolverine" and not "X-Men 0" or something stupid like that.
