It's not a newspaper per se, but I think Haven Works wins.
Gets the win from me. That site's virtually unusable.
I bet they're believing their site's traffic is all genuine readers, when in fact most of the hits they get is from threads like this one.

I believe it is the so-called Slashdot Effect™. Usually, when such a site appears on Slashdot, it gets an immense number of hits from people trying to check it out. Sometimes, they get so many that the servers get overloaded and explode, showering the host company with silicon and bits of twisted metal that get lodged in their eyes and become infected and [that's enough, you've made your point - someone]

That website, by the way, is intolerable. I'm getting migraines just thinking about it.

And the less said about the Daily Mail in general, the better.

I like the crammed mess of icons on the left-side of the very top of the page that are links to particular areas of the site. The icons -unidentifiable on their own- have a key are the clear, far, bottom of that page.

Seriously, that page looks like it was designed aby a 14 year-old with an AOL webpage and a dial-up connection in 1998.

There must be two hundred stories on the front page. It's impossible to find anything, there doesn't seem to be any logic to the layout at all.
That's the beauty of it. I can waste so much time on that website clicking on one story after another about people I don't know or don't care about. And an hour later, I haven't gained any knowledge, nor do I have a clue why I was there to begin with. It's a pretty good example of my time on the internet.

Daily Mail is a pretty standard broadsheet, Drudge Report is a cheap and nasty Text-only blog with no concern to layout - but I realy like the Havenworks - It is in between the Drudge report and Daily Mail -making the transition to a true Broadsheet newspaper. With better Web layout Design - it would be up there with the Daily Mail.

Much beter layout design. How anyone can find something comprehensible on Haven's site is astounding.

That's got to be a parody site, surely? Even Homer Simpson's web page wasn't that bad...

^Hey, unlike the Daily Fail's website, Homer's page had news that eventually turned out to be true!

Wow. That is horrible. I don't think you could purposely design something worse!
