A Moment of Silence, please, for "Street Fighter"

.. Because apparently it's godawful.

IGN Quote: Chris Klein delivers one of the most laughably bad screen performances of the decade.

Evidence. Great snakes.

What, Bison couldn't even wear a red blazer?

I was hoping this would be cheesy fun, in the vein of LXG. Instead, it appears one'd be better of renting the original Van Damme movie.

First hint to me that this movie was going to suck?

Kirsten Kreuk. She can't act her way out of a paper sack. Wet or dry. Plus, IMO, her looks are way overrated.

They really should have done this back when the franchise was still popular. Instead of now, when it is essentially relegated to the collections of hardcore 2D fighting game fans.

And I like Micheal Clarke Duncan. What happened dude? You're a fucking Oscar nominee! Start acting like it.

Maybe he's a hardcore 2D fighting game player.

You know, Chris Klein is part of the holy trinity of actor suckage that is Freddie Prinze Jr., Ashton Kutcher and Chris Klein.

Apparently he's a bigtime Street Fighter player who likes Balrog the best, and he was offered the part of Balrog. I doubt this movie will affect his career.

Wow, that was some bad acting. Of course the last time I saw Chris Kline was in a pilot for Welcome To The Captain and he was equally as bad so I really shouldn't be surprised.

Dude, when I think of the Chinese character Chun Li - her face is the first one that comes to mind. Also I think that if he was still alive, Bernie Mac would have been a great Ryu.

Edit: wow, the fight scenes look dire.

Of course it going to be horrible. It stars Kristen Kreuk, who actually manages to bring down the acting level of Smallville, who starred in that godawful Earthsea Sci-Fi mini-series! And Bison just wears a suit?! WTF? I'll stick with my beloved Van Damme version thanks!

Not me. Anyone who can stand next to Tom Welling and make him look like he's on stage at Shakespeare's Globe performing a one man version of Hamlet is not a good choice for a lead.

A whole new level of Teh Suck.

It's a video game movie - in what universe could it be good?
