They look pretty good, hopefully they'll be somewhat affordable, Ghostbusters has been one of my favorite movies since I was a little kid.

Is Winston getting shafted AGAIN?! He better damn-well be in this line of figures.

(Which I will quickly buy 2 sets of and keep one in the OP and stored away and the other on display.)

Hey, in the pictures why does Venkman have on the Ecto Goggles when it was Ray Stanz who wore them in the movie?

Because they don't want to show off a half arsed Bill Murray face.

Eh Winston deserves the shaft. Never really thought he was anything special. Always screamed 'Token Black guy'. Although I did love his "Shit that will turn you WHITE" line.

"Yay mommy It's Winston Zeddymore...Zeddermore...Zeddmore...uhm... THE BLACK GUY! YAY!"

He'll be part of series two if some of the series one figures (like Peck, the Mayor, the scared librarian, the hotel manager, and the two students in Venkman's test study) sell well.

Please note that those are two-ups of the six inch figures. The actual figures will only be half that size. We don't really have any great pics of the actual 12 inchers yet. Just a couple on TNI that are only from the side which are not very flattering.

Awesome! Thanks for the link to the gallery. Too bad the Peter likeness sucks. And no Winston.

Anyway, we are getting more than just action figures. We are also getting Ghostbusters Minimates!

If you buy a 12" Ghostbusters doll ... isn't it kind of disappointing when you toy is bigger than your you-know-what?

Are you sure you're not referring to the Minimates?

Speaking of the Minimates, here are a bunch of pictures of them from ToyFair: Gallery I love the Terror Dog Minimate.

And while not a toy, here is an image of a replica Ecto-1 license plate, by Diamond Select: image

Re: Ghostbusters toys on the way!

I like the idea of Ghostbusters comics, but they haven't been great.

I wonder if there'd be a market for media tie-in books. Some of the Hellboy ones have done okay, but they're more straightforward horror than horror/comedy.

I'd love to see a Ghostbusters novel written by someone like Christopher Moore, but that's a pipe dream, right there.
