Vanguard: In Tempest Wake and The Struggle Within

Are these two books worth getting?

What is the Vanguard one about?

Re: Vanguard: In Tempest Wake and The Struggle Within

Personally, I enjoyed them both. My biggest problem with The Struggle Within was that it was too short, but I really enjoyed the story. The consensus on the boards here was that In Tempest's Wake could be superfluous or "unnecessary," but my love of Vanguard means that I want to read everything, so I enjoyed it.

I've linked my reviews of each below. They do contain spoilers, though.
