Re: 'Star Trek XI' Super Bowl Commercial

The Super Bowl spot (Big Game TV Spot) is now available for viewing and download (480/720/1080) at the official site:
"There were long green couches on the first floor that smelled like failure and
skin flakes, and no one would nap on them for fear of catching salmonella."

I don't get people complaining about Kirk's "Woo". He's done it before:
I could swear that's not Kirk! Looks more like the Priceline guy!

The new spot certainly shows it could be as good as Transformers ... of course, Transformers sucked, IMO .

Re: 'Star Trek XI' Super Bowl Commercial

As long as it's anywhere near as successful as Transformers, people will continue to have the opportunity to disagree about Trek's quality for some years to come.

If it bombs, we can all go back to arguing about the number of warp coils in Defiant's nacelles for as long as we have time to waste.

Someone at Trekweb titled a thread "Chris Pine says 'man' and the Asperger's Brigade have an existential crisis."
