No more than the people who take his statements and expect their dreams to be fulfilled. This movie gets no less praise than criticism - more, in fact - and yet it's no less an unknown quantity to those who insist it'll be better than sliced bread.

' regardless of whether it's good, bad or unrecognizable. Which I guess means I'm definitely not the target audience.
Well you are right, you are not the target audience, and you were not the target audience from the moment this film was announced. This film was not made for the Trekkies, cause if it was it would fail. It needs to take the aspects of Star Trek that are good, and blow them up to an epic, bug budget feature film level, and yes that includes the fights and action sequences. For all the the criticism leveled at this movie, it seems that no one can prove where it was stated that the film will be all visuals no story.
